Dr. Caroline Fleck is a licensed psychologist, author, and corporate consultant. A world-renowned expert on the topic of validation, her new book Validation: How the Skill Set That Revolutionized Psychology Will Transform Your Relationships, Increase Your Influence, and Change Your Life (Penguin Random House, 2025) has been translated in nine different languages.

Caroline received a B.A. in psychology and English from the University of Michigan, followed by an M.A. and PhD from the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at Duke University. She has served as a supervisor and consultant for some of the most rigorous training programs in the country, including Dr. Marsha Linehan’s BRTC at the University of Washington, the Department of Psychiatry at Stanford Medical Center, and the VA Palo Alto. Caroline is a respected voice in psychology and has been featured in national media outlets, including The New York Times, Good Morning America, and The Huffington Post.

Caroline’s corporate work focuses on creating high-performing individuals and teams using the proven methods of behavioral science. She designs and implements custom training programs for Fortune 500 companies and provides executive coaching to industry leaders.

In her private practice, Caroline is committed to providing scientifically proven interventions to achieve measurable improvements in the problems her clients target in therapy.
